will tiki torch fluid work as a substitute for zippo light fluid in Zippo's

Yes. I see no reason why it would use more flints. It should spark up pretty quickly but might not be advisable in the long run as it has different properties. ''Lighter Fluid'' is Naptha. There is nothing special about it. In my smoking days I used it regularly in my Zippo as I bought it in gallons for use when refinishing furnature anyway..Zippo and the other brands just put it in a different bottle and mark it up astronomically.

You could but you'd run through flints something fierce. Tiki torch fuel is closer to diesel or kerosene. There is a reason why Zippos require a special blend of fuel it burns cleaner thus saving on wick and flint replacement.
