You buy cheap,you get cheap
if u just filled it, try using a drop of lighter fluid on the wick. also check to make sure the wick extends down into the bottom of the lighter for best wicking properties. You can pull some more wick out near the ignition area to get a bigger flame but if its too long it will just burn the wick up anyways. Replacing the wick & cotton with a well known product name brand will make ur knock off work better in the long run. word from the wise, just dont carry it in u pocket if its leaking. it will cause a nasty rash on ur leg.
Because it is a knock-off Zippo made with inferior parts.
Try using a pair of needle-nose pliers and pull up some more wick. Longer wick=bigger flame. Ideally, the wick should extend to just below the top of the chimney.
Even if it is an imitation lighter, you might try using a real Zippo brand wick and Zippo brand fluid.
you get what you pay for, homie.
because it is an imitation. they suck. just get a real Zippo.
