How long can you use a zippo before you have to replace anything

Ive seen Zippos go for 3 weeks without fuel and I've sen them need fuel every other day, Some lighters go through flints quicker then others, Really just a trial and error expirement.

all ZIPPO LIGHTERS are guarantied for life refuel when it takes more then 3 strikes to light.if kept full of fuel the wick should never burn.replace flint when you notice the striking wheel starts to get hard to turn.if any thing breaks simply return to ZIPPO.

If you are a pack a day smoker the flint will wear out in a matter of weeks. The wick will last for several years if you do not abuse it by burning it when fuel level is very low causing the wick to char. If somthing breaks Zippo will fix it free. I have two Zippos over thirty years old both used on a daily basis.
