How do you refill a Zippo lighter
Pull insides out of case. Squirt lighter fuel on cotton felt pad until saturated. THEN *** SHAKE OUT EXCESS WITH ONE OR TWO SHAKES***. THEN put it back together. If you do not and you put the lighter in your pants pocket, you will get a nice chemical burn on your leg!
Use Zippo or Ronsonol lighter fluid, never use BBQ lighter fuild. It will damage the lighter.
Buy some liquid lighter fluid. Open the top of yer Zippo.pull the insides out from the casing. Turn insides upside down.see cotton?.yep. Pour until cotton is saturated.not tooo much. Put the thing back together. Be sure you have good flint. There ya go.
1) Open the lighter.
2) Pull the guts (the part that contains the chimney, wick, wheel & flint) out of the shell (the part that has the flip lid).
3) Turn the guts portion over; u will see a padded stopper.
4) Pull the padded stopper up (you can use the little hole to get a grip with a paper clip or toothpick).
5) Squirt refill fuel into the cotton inside the lighter until u get a drip from the wick.
6) Turn it over & put it back in the shell.
Be careful when u first light it after refilling. You may have fluid on ur hands & the first flame may be much larger than usual.
You put butane in it
Buy some lighter fuel then theres a little hole in the bottom or the whole bottom comes off depending on your zippo then yo can pour the fluid into there.
squirt lighter fluid in the filter once you take it out of the case.
