I've run out of lighter fluid that l regularly buy at a local tobacco store for my Zippo lighter.I've got plenty of charcoal lighter fluid on hand because every time l go shopping for a planned barbeque l can never recall if l have enough charcoal lighter fluid.Can the charcoal lighter fluid l have on hand be used in my Zippo lighter?

does it burn? of course it does. a million years ago we used to put #2 fuel (deisel) in our zippos. they tended to smoke a bit but it did work.
